  1. Red red red :

Great one! Got almost all of them - like four or so are still missing.

  2. eszpee :

Which ones do you miss? Just curious…

  3. Red red red :

    H, J, S, X and Z…

  4. eszpee :

I thought X is going to be one of the easiest :)

  5. Red red red :

    Yes, a fairly obvious one… Only J and Z are missing now. I know Z for sure…

  6. Red red red :

Seems like I’m the only one who’s interested in this thing??? :-(

  7. eszpee :

    J - it’s a japanese brand
Z - you can see it in the kitchen

    Hope this helps :)

  8. Chrissie :

    Hi,
great quiz but I’m really hopeless now. Sitting at it for over 3 hours and still missing F, H, I, K, S and T. Pleaaaaase help me…

  9. eszpee :

Hi Chrissie, some hints then, hope they might help:

“F”, “H” and “S” are sports stuff. Careful, if you eat “K” or in “I” every day, you won’t fit into them - but anyway you can still be on the cover of “T”. :)

  10. mikey D. :

I NEED SERIOS HELP! MAJOR HINTS PLEASE!!!!

  11. mikey D. :

    is anybody out there

  12. mikey D. :

    AAAK

  13. mikey D. :

    helloooooo :9

  14. mikey D. :

serious help here please, cmon guys, i know you’re out there

    :)

  15. eszpee :

    Hello mikey D.,

    - No need to send 5 messages, it won’t increase the probability of an answer - we don’t spend all day here, you know.

    - If you could list a few letters that you’re missing, somebody might provide some hints, but I don’t think your all-caps “I need it all!!!” message will encourage anybody to exchange hints with you.

    - And at last: Sorry, but I won’t provide hints for all the letters, I think that would spoil the fun for others.

  16. Red red red :

    Chrissie,
further hints (jeezz, tahnx for the help, ezspee, i got it all finally…)

    F: Don’t worry! You’ll get it if you don’t.
    H: a chick basically
I: Not a queen, actually, and has nothing to do with that German town…
K: just like those street sports shoes
S: sports again, not only shoes this time
T: food - for your eyes and brain

    Hope this helps.

  17. Red red red :

Mikey, what letters do you need help for?

  18. mikey D. :

any hints you have would be great ive solved a few but…

  19. mikey D. :

jeez ezspee, no need to bite my head off. its not like i was trying to offend anyone, i was just bored

  20. eszpee :

mikey D., sorry if I sounded offensive, I had no intentions to do so at all!

Red red red, I love your hints :)

  21. Red red red :

    eszpee, thanks heaps ;)

mikey, (and any others) the hints. First they are gonna be of the not-too evident type, hope they help still.

A - Computer related company brand. think of a store where you can buy film.
B - Computer related brand again - seems like the guy’s in the IT business… - The name’s an acronym.
C - surely one of the top 5 most well-known brands, one that has two registered official names - not a common feature…
D - Another one of the most popular brands of the planet - this time it’s sports
E - The name is not the least specific about a certain part of a vehicle
    F - As I said before: don’t worry!
G - I could think of almost 750 famous ways from above to hint at this…
    H - The chick’s from the fashion business…
I - Don’t be small about this, go large and think!
J - A sacred place for them karate guys
K - Not to be confused with the sports shoes you’re wearing down the street - it’s much more delicious…
L - Check your butt, a fair chance that you’re gonna know this one then.
M - It’s gonna flash into your mind sooner or later, be sure…
    N - see “D”…
O - how big is the biggest number you know? If you don’t know, check it with a search engine, like yahoo, hotbot…
P - Computer world again. Sounds just like a once-mighty, now nonexisting car company thought of making it into the repro-business.
Q - Think of neatly and space-sparingly packed hardware.
R - Professor Salt would have never made it…
S - Sounds like it, still not a woman’s name, but rather sporty.
T - London and New York has the two most famous.
U - Howerver hard they try, they won’t make me belive sweets could ever score in a basketball game - especially not this spectacular…
    V - His Master’s voice intact.
X - Little known fact that the company started with designing and producing aeroplanes, hence the very characteristic and easy-to-identify blue-white logo symbolizing the moving propellers of a plane.
X - The letter woul look much easier to identify printed out, not blurred like it is now.
Y - the company that gave us the pedestrian musician.
Z - Not German, as the name would imply, but surely one of the most profiting providers of Hollywood… (and, alas, ezspee, i really found it in my kitchen :))))

    Hope i could help.

eszpee, are there any plans for a sequel to this quiz also, like with the other quiz?

  22. Red red red :

Oops, a mistake I put X instead of W… So:

X - Little known fact that the company started with designing and producing aeroplanes, hence the very characteristic and easy-to-identify blue-white logo symbolizing the rotating propellers of a plane.

  23. mikey D. :

its ok ezspee, i probably shouldn’t of posted 5 messages, iguess i was bored

  24. mikey D. :

OH WOW, thank you so much red red red, you have no idea how much this helps

  25. eszpee :

Red red red, cool hints again :)

Yes, we’re probably going to make a sequel to this too, and also we’re planning other similar quizzes, stay tuned!

  26. Red red red :

    Sure.

    What similar quizzes?

  27. ses :

red red red, all kinds of them :) but you don’t want us to ruin it all by revealing them just yet, do you? :D keep watching, we’ll be back with more. if you are very busy, subscribe to the xml feed so you know when the new stuff arrives.

  28. jennifer l. :

Fun quiz, but are you sure about “L”? I finally got it thru the hints, but had to look up the actual logo versus what I recognized it as. They are very different. I don’t want to give away any answers/details, so quiz creators feel free to email me if you want to discuss further.

  29. ses :

jennifer, thanks for the comment. actually, L does come from the logo of this company. Admittedly, logos do change in time, but we tried to stick with the most classic version here. :)

  30. Red red red :

Jennifer l., use Google image search, type in the name of the brand + logo and you’ll see for yourself.

  31. bored-designers :

Still stuck on the old ‘S’ doesn’t even look remotely familiar. I lost faith after I found ‘H’ that is such a smaller company compared to the rest of them. Thank God two of us worked in sports retail.

  32. Red red red :

Well, bored-designers, if you have connections to the sports retail business, “s” should be relatively easier for you. You should think about racket sports, like tennis, for instance. And, remember, it’s not a woman’s name, however similar it sounds!

  33. den :

    still missing
    G, I, M, S, Z.
G and M very familiar but doesn’t springs to mind.
    I, S, Z - no idea.

  34. ses :

    den,

here we go with some hopefully-not-so-direct hints:

G - look at how aerodynamic that letter is!
    I - a royally formed capital there ;)
M - these guys were definitely involved in building this site
S - red red red made a great hint recently
Z - this one almost became a politically loaded logo in the US

  35. Red red red :

I didn’t know about this story with Z and politics. How come?

  36. Peter Pan :

Still missing F,G,H,I,W and Z. Any more “good” hints for me??? Are the names also well known in europe?

  37. Red red red :

Peter Pan, the brands are rather well-known in Europe. Maybe the logotype they use are not always. G is an example for that.

W is well known in Europe cause it’s a European brand. The others are not (I’m not sure about H, but i think its not European…).

  38. Steven :

    Hi, iam from Germany. Can you help me with E, G, I, K, S, T, W, Y, Z
Thats very diffiult for me. Thats all american copanies (i think so). [solution deleted*] i only knows from movies and search 1h at google to find the full name.

    Plz help me

*please don’t post solutions to comments! it spoils the fun for others! thanks! - eszpee

  39. Red red red :

    Steven, you shouldnt give solutions…

You’ll be surprised to hear, that W is actually a German brand! See my hints on it at #22 (I put X instead of W, a mistake, sorry…), maybe that helps.

  40. Red red red :

And, Y is not an American brand (not European either), the others you asked about, as far as i know, are.

  41. ses :

Steven - how can you be a German and not know W? :) For some of the others, see the hints given earlier. You sure can do better than this, we have trust in you :)

  42. Dirk :

I didn’t know (E,G,I,K,S,T,Z). can you help me please and give me more details please

  43. Dirk :

so I have E,GI,K,S and T but the Z is very difficult

  44. michel :

    I ned better tips for U + Z (the rest i know!). I’m a german guy.

  45. Dirk :

    I’m from Germany too.
u = in our german films every police officer love it. it is round and sweet and you can eat it.

  46. ses :

Dirk and michel, the Z is actually also German - in a way. Come on guys, get the Z done before you eat your next U - the two don’t go together :)

  47. Yanni :

    Hi there,
so Z is ‘in a way’ German, became a ‘political loaded logo’ AND it can/could be found in a kitchen.
    Sorry, I’ll pass.
    I give up.
    I have no Idea.
    Unless… …anybody has another hint?.. ;)
    ThnX.

  48. ses :

Yanni, it must be there in your head. Gotta get it out. Come on, squeeze it. Squirt! :)

  49. eszpee :

Come on guys, catch up, you should know the answer for this! ;)

  50. Red red red :

    Yanni,
Z is not German, only soundzz like it is. And remember: sells alot of its product in Hollywood…

(I also recall raeding an article like 6-8 years ago which said the company’s boss was the man with the highest official salary in the world…)

  51. Nicklorion :

    i cant find E, G, I, S help please another hint ? :p

  52. StoEpz0r :

Aaargh, this one is the most difficult one I’ve done so far (movie & games were doable, this is very very hard)

    Still need E,G,S :(

  53. hunterseeker :

E,G,S are really hard to find…anyone with a good hint :)

  54. hunterseeker :

I, is for people who eat fast in royalclass ;)

  55. Nicklorion :

    indeed StoEpz0r. i’ve got E,G,S still open….

please need a really good hint on those 3.

  56. StoEpz0r :

Haah, finally found G, now that I look back on it the hints seem obvious ;)

    Still missing E & S though :|

  57. Red red red :

    Hints:

    E: Sounds like a plugged-in soldier
    G: It’s so plane and simple…
    S: sports business.

  58. StoEpz0r :

    Hiya m8’s,

we finally got em all, got the E thx to Red red red’s hint, the S we just found by searching for sportbrands ;)

  59. StoEpz0r :

oh and btw, the filter on the E is not very strict, got the second word waaaay of and it accepted it.

  60. Dach :

I just need 3 more: F, H, and K. The hints so far for F and H were much worse than useless. It’s a chick, BIG HELP!!! The hints for K were quite a bit better, but I did an extensive search of brand logos and types of shoes, and didn’t come up with anything with a K in it that sounds like ANY kind of food. In exchange for those three, I’ll give hints for the ones I got that I think were the most difficult:

S: Unbelievably obscure. Unless you work for the company, you’ve likely never heard of it. I only found it by doing extensive Google searches of every possible athletic wear brand name, and on the 55th search, I got lucky. It starts with an E. It has absolutely nothing to do with a woman’s name, so don’t let that throw you. It sounds like 2/3 of a popular hallucinogen.

J: It has nothing to do with Karate, but it’s big in Japan and starts with an F.

G: It’s the last letter of the first name in flight.

This was a really good quiz, except for the incredibly obscure sports logos, which I’m guessing is what all 3 of the remaining ones are.

  61. StoEpz0r :

Hey Dach, don’t put em down like that, some hints might not have been that obvious, but be glad they were even there. Remember the guy did most of em without any hints at all, so chill. Here’s some more for you:

F - This hint is a pretty fearsome adversary for the mind.

H - Didn’t get the chick part in the hint, but if it is a chick you can bet she came from down below.

K - Ha, I disrespectfully utter a partly stiffled laugh at you for not getting this ;)

  62. StoEpz0r :

Oh and Dach, read the hints carefully before complaining about them:

“F”, “H” and “S” are sports stuff. Careful, if you eat “K” or in “I” every day, you won’t fit into them - but anyway you can still be on the cover of “T”. :)

    K = not a sports brand ;)

  63. Natasha :

I’ll help with what I know already!

    A-?
    B- Think computers
C- One of the world’s most popular brands
    D- Athletic Stuff
    E-?
    F-?
    G-?
    H-?
I- I’d imagine this royal would be quite fat
J- You’ll need a photographic memory to remember this one
    K- ?
    L-?
    M-?
N- You might Like this brand?
O- This could come in handy while looking for your other answers
    P- ?
Q- A computer brand which is nice and small
R- Consume too much of this and you might need him!
    S-?
T- You’re wasting it sitting here
    U-?
    V- First time??
    W- vroom, vroom…
    X-?
    Y- The headbanger’s dream
    Z-?

You can see I’m missing a lot! I’m guessing that part of that miiight have to do with the fact than I’m an Aussie… who knows ;)

Help me out if you can please,

    Thanks!

  64. Red red red :

Natasha, your hints are simply awesome!!! I love them :)))

Some new hints for you - and any others in need - for the others:

    A - Think of computer graphics in a mud-hut
E - One of the most well-known American brands, rather old. Not specific, not unplugged…
F - Could also be taken as a moral boosting cry
G - You sure know this name, especially familiar with a numeric extension almost 750…
H - Well, I always thought it was a women’s name. Anyways, a name that is also a brand, like “Christian Dior”.
K - brown wrapping, brown inside, sweety :)
L - Again a brand containing a name - a Hebrew first name this time. Surname of the guy identical with a German composer.
    M - computer world. Quick as flash…
P - Computer world #2… Two names together making up a very famous brand for peripherials. The solution is an abbreviation.
S - Well… Seems to be the hardest on in the pack. A sports brand that i think sounds like a woman’s name, some of the others say it doesnt. If you say it as an Enbglish word it definitely does, though. The logo of the company looks like half a tennis ball.
U - Think of sweet rings scoring in a basketball game from a VERY close range…
X - If you copy what your classmate has written when doing a test in school, then it’s called a “Team …” - … meaning the brand
Z - Think of a type of vegetables (some say it’s fruit)in an unusual form - this is the top brand of it.

    Hope i could help…

  65. Red red red :

Boys… I just visited “s”’s website and there they use a slightly, but evidently different font… Plus the color is not characteristic at all.
I guess maybe you should consider replacing this controversial one with a less-so one. I guess that wouldn’t hurt anybody, and 90% of the trouble here is with that.

  66. ses :

Red red red, thing is logos do change in time and sometimes get redesigned. Several others in the quiz had or have logos with a different typeface.

The ominous company might not be as well konwn as the others but i’d say there is no “trouble” with it - just people who know what it is and people who do not know yet. :) We need some hard nuts to crack otherwise the quiz would be boring.

  67. Red red red :

    ses,
yes, logos and typefaces do change with time. I just wanted to say that if one of the letters invokes so much debate, plus it turns out that even the company’s own hom page features a different one, then maybe it would not hurt anybody to change this one. Sure, it’s not impossible to find out - I could do it :) - still, I guess, the complaining ones have a point there.

  68. Dach :

I need better hints. C’mon people! Starting letters! These are extraordinarily difficult and maddening. There must be thousands of female fashion designers, sweet foods, and/or sports brands. They’re obviously things I’ve never seen, but since there’s no answer key, I need REALLY obvious clues, along the lines of Clue 36 of the Great Computer Game Quiz.

  69. Dach :

Stoepzor, I understand that “K” isn’t a shoe. However, the hints suggest it’s a brand of sweet food that’s the same as a kind of footwear. Since I couldn’t think of or research a single type of footwear that sounded like any kind of food, I then had to move on to brands of footwear. I know it’s some kind of food, but I’m guessing it’s something they don’t sell here in California.

  70. Dach :

F - Sports brand, “Don’t Worry”, Fearsome adversary for the mind, Moral boosting cry. It’s not Fight, not Foe, not Freedom…. I need a clue that, if it were “fight”, would be along the lines of “_____ Club”. Really, REALLY obvious, please. I have wasted 36 hours of my life on this, and forced several friends to waste large chunks of their lives on it as well. No one knows what F, H, and K are. F is probably the most frustrating, only because it looks exactly like the Firestone logo. H, I know I’ve never, ever seen before, so it’s not as baffling. K is only so because of the conflicting clues. WTF does it have to do with shoes?

  71. mr. flibble :

U is an American company only… think of inserting a cake with a hole in the middle into a cup of coffee.

Z is the completely wrong colours. It’s nothing to do with politics, they make ketchup and baked beans.

    I can’t get F, G, H. Are these American only?

  72. Dach :

G you don’t see much, because they sell their products to companies that paint over their logo immediately. I only knew it because I work in the industry.
Since I’m sick of getting vague and conflicting clues, I’ll give you the kind of clue I’m hoping to get:
It starts with a B, and they make planes.

  73. mr. flibble :

I got G now, I didn’t even know they had logo!

  74. Red red red :

    Dach,
I’d be HIGHLY surprised to find “K” isn’t sold in California :)))

Since ghiving the strating letters would be a too blunt hint for others, give me your email address and i’ll send you the starters of the ones you need, OK?

  75. Dach :

At this point, this has taken too much of my life away from me, and If you could just give me the answers, I’d be okay with that too. My e-mail is dach @ kuci.org

  76. Red red red :

Dach, mail is on its way.

  77. Dach :

Thanks. I got “K” from the clue alone, and I feel foolish for not getting it earlier. One word, “bar,” would have made an enormous difference. And definitely ignore the shoe hint (I still don’t get that one).
“F” I have heard of, but I have never seen the logo represented above, and as with “S”, it’s not to be found on their website. I guess you would just to have seen someone wearing one of their ubiquitous T-shirts somewhere. Because the “F” was so big, I thought it had to be the first letter. It’s not. It’s the first letter of the second word.
H: I have never heard of H. Even after going to their website, I know with absolute certainty I have never heard of them, nor have I ever seen their logo. I sent the URL to a few random IM friends, and none of them have ever seen that logo either. I think that one is WAY too obscure, even moreso than “S”. So, if you need a hint, I can’t tell you anything about the company, but:
    1. Adjective meaning “like purgatory,”
    2. They wrote “Mmm Bop!” But I think it’s spelled differently.
Anyway, (#0000FF^3), thanks for giving me the answers and letting this OCD victim get on with his life. I know I neve rwould have gotten F and H from clues alone.

  78. Dach :

Oops! That should read (#FF0000)^3. It means Red, Red, Red.

  79. Red red red :

    Dach,

    well, glad i could help.

But i guess we can’t expect the author of the quizz to anticipate which brands we all know and which we don’t. and, anyways, if all of them were as easy as d, i, or b, I would have long forgotten about the whole quizz :))))
Ses promised a sequel, lets hope itll feature less of the obscure ones.

  80. Red red red :

By the way, ses, i dont want to sound impatient - i am not, really - but the movie stills quizz, which had been put here later than this one, has already got a sequel. Sure this one is to have one, too?

  81. Natasha :

red red red… thanks for the help! I still suck at this though and have only managed to get an extra “u” so far >_

  82. rob :

Is L definitely found in Europe? red red red are you sure your hints in 21 and 64 are right. I was sure I had it after reading 21 but turned out it was wrong.
Any more clues for L anyone? It’s the only one I have left!

  83. Red red red :

    rob,

L is most definitely found in Europe. As for 21 and 64, well, yes, I’m pretty sure, otherwise I wouldn’t have given them :)

  84. rob :

I didn’t mean to doubt you red red red but this ‘L’ character is driving me insane! Is it the first letter of the company’s name or somewhere in the middle? I’m dying for some really massive hints.

  85. Red red red :

    SPOILER for “L”

    rob,
yes, it is the first letter. Maybe you can also find it slightly longer, but the colors help.

  86. anticodrone :

still missing a, h, i, l, p, q, s, y. hints helped me get most of the others, but many are moreso entertainment for those who know the answer rather than help for those who dont. unless you did well on the psychic quiz. thanks for the effort though. anyway, can anybody help?

  87. Red red red :

OK, then ill provide you with more straightforward hints. Some of the are even giveaways, so read them only if you’re really stuck.

    a - a software company.
h - fashion company casual streetwear, one of the most obscures :( The brand name is the name of a person - full name.
    i - Two words: 1.) junk 2.) food
l - fashion, mostly trousers and jacket, but also shirts, t-shirts and stuff. A legendary name, and a legendary number, barely higher than 500…
p - Hardware company, mainly peripherials, like printers, scannars etc… Also produce digital cameras. The solution is an abbreviation.

q - Another hardware company, mainly computers.

s - Another controversial one. A sportswear company. Hard, ecause even their home page features a different font face…

y - A very well known Japanese brand. Electronics, mainly audio- and video tehnology, tv-s, radios, music stuff. Most probably you have some of their products at home.

    Gr0

  88. Red red red :

And i just managed to provide another giveaway for some of you :))))))))

  89. ses :

Exactly, red red red. How to screw our carefully built image in two unnecessary seconds ;)

  90. Red red red :

It was relly a test of myself, trying to find out how long I can avoid it. Can tell you it lasted much longer than I expected :)

    And was fun, too :))))

PS: And let that freaking sequence come, won’t you :))))))

  91. Natasha :

For those people pretty stuffed on this quiz (such as yours truly) I’ll give you what I know in the least round-about while not COMPLETELY obvious kind of way… I have tonsilitis and am back to being addicted to this thing in my absolutely BORING sparetime!!! >__

  92. Natasha :

For those people pretty stuffed on this quiz (such as yours truly) I’ll give you what I know in the least round-about while not COMPLETELY obvious kind of way… I have tonsilitis and am back to being addicted to this thing in my absolutely BORING sparetime!!! >__

  93. Natasha :

bleh it didnt work… ill try later…

  94. Amber :

dude, did any1 take the r u phycic quiz? did it work?

  95. Natasha :

    I’ll just post what I know… I’ve wasted so long of my life on this thing!! lol… it’s addictive… I can’t stop until I complete it! >_

  96. Natasha :

A- software company, they made a program famous with photographers the world over
B- Think computers again, pretty old company, this time the name is just initials
    C- “Always……” a famous drink ;)
D- ADD your ideas up and you might get this one, it’s a sports brand- very famous.
E- Nothing to do with a woman’s name… so forget that hint. Two words, first word think “all-around” second word think “power”
    F- ?????

I- The king of take-out food
J- Japanese company, why say “cheese” when you can say… ____!
K- The word sounds kind of like a type of footwear… but don’t confuse the two! This one is MUCH yummier and will add weight to your bottom, not help to remove it!
L- They make a lot of denim and jeans– pretty reputable company, quite famous.
M- (more computer stuff) The first part of this word sounds kind of like “micro”, like redredred said… think flash!

V- The bible’s Mary was apparently one of these!
W- Their logo represents plane propellors against a blue sky– they now make cars, watch the movie Finding Forrester for the answer if you still can’t get it and are super-desperate.
X- Think “zero”. The x’s in this word are used similarly to the way they are used in the words “Xena” and “Xavier”
    Y- Producers of t.v’s, discmans, mp3players, camcorders etc. VERY famous, it’s a….____
Z- They make baked beans and other canned goodZ, check the canned-goods section of your supermarket if you can’t find it in your pantry.

Hope that helps… more to the point, HOPE THIS ONE POSTS… I’ve typed this out like 5times now :(

  97. Red red red :

    Good hints.

The ones you’re missing (this time very straightforward ones, so be careful):
    F: ű
Another lesser-known brand it seems. Sporty street-wear. Name means the same as the title of that very famous Bobby McFerrin humm-alomg hit.
G: I said there are almost 750 reasons to know this brand. Now, the exact number is 747…
S: as it is clear by now, it’s another sportswear brand. Italian - although not famous for that, I googled it out. Especially tennis. Plus watches. Logo looks like half a tennis ball. Marc Girardelli, the world champion skier used to be sponsored by them.

  98. XCassandra KayX :

Okay, I have gotten 15 right. These are the ones I need, and I need more obvious hints, I have been at this for 2 hours!

    a,c,f,hj,k,n,p,q,s,w

I am pretty sure I know what C is, but when I typed it in, it said it was incorrect…so I don’t know!

    Help, please!

  99. ses :

    - H: put on something expensive and go sailing!
    - J: as in Japan… :)
    - Q: come on, they were soooo big - until they were eaten a couple of years ago

  105. Samsonov :

F and S seem to be invulnerable.

    G: Not 750 — the 777 rulz forever. :)
J: A first half of last name of peruvian president in 1990-2000 (inspite of he was born in South America, he actually has the same roots as this company).
U: This company is only known in countries where they have service, just like the tradition to accompany it with basketball. Of course, everyone have seen it in Hollywood movies, but only selected country’s citizens remember the first part of the name.
Z: The color scheme is usually white on red or black on white — not white on yellow. And I think they are more famous for ketchup and mayonnaise than for beans.

  106. EL_GhouL :

    E, K, S, U :(

  107. EL_GhouL :

  144. KPbICMAH :

    tek_a

How do I hint this without making it too easy?

The company name in question consists of two words; both start with the same letter (not U). The second word of the company name is the multiple of ‘ponchik’ thing.

Now, the English word for ‘ponchik’ is composed of two parts. The first part is what ponchiks are made of, in English it is sometimes synonimical with ‘a large sum of money’, in Russian it relates to a man’s father-in-law. The second part of the English word for ponchik is what squirrels like, stuff in a hard shell (like acorn). In English, you can also use this when someone goes crazy.

Ok, hopefully by now you have the two parts of the ponchik word. It is now safe to say ‘ugh’ and shorten that word a little in the middle. Then make the word multiple.

Now go to the Website of ‘O’ in this quiz and look around for the ponchiks. The answer should come quite obvious.

    Regards,
    KPbICMAH

P.S.: I thought the ‘U’ in this quiz was from what actually is hidden under ‘I’.

P.S.2: Now someone please help the dumba$$ me with the letter ‘F’. I am clueless.

  145. tek_a :

    KPbICMAH
thank you so much! i got it))) I just didn’t know the company’s name consisted of two parts.

About F: as it has already been written here on this page, the name of the company means “нет страха” if to translate it into russian. There should be two separate words.
If i’m not mistaken the company produces some sports clothes and other stuff.
    Good luck))

  146. KPbICMAH :

thx tek_a, got it now! :) I read thru the posts but couldn’t get it right.

  147. me :

help with HH… i know the brand, but i can’t spell it correctly… tried all possible variants…it seems…

  148. Hellenika :

    dear me,

HH sounds similar like an American cosmetics brand, famous for it’s nail care products:) of excellent quality, actually. But the name of the girl is different

Lotsa thanxxx for F:) Peruvian president, my ass… that simple!

  156. Jim :

I have been racking my brain all day with the ‘K’ & cant seem come up with it. would anyone care to enlighten me with some more clues.

  157. Jim :

    nevermind, got ‘K’ finally.

  158. B-lady :

For “S” - Ana Kournikova would probably wear their clothing. First part of the company’s name is the same as an international fashion magazine.

  159. Tej Buch :

Contrary to what someone mentioned that ‘Z’ does not have a political significance….I think that the hint about the political significance was the best yet…..It immediately clicked with me……..Cheers to the guy who gave that hint…! And thanks to all those who helped me decipher ‘S’…

  160. Tej Buch :

I have cracked all but ‘F’ and ‘R’…Plz plz help me out on these……….some more obvious hints..u can mail me the direct answers of ‘F’ and ‘R’ on tej.buch@gmail.com

  161. b-lady :

    Hi Tej,

For “F” - this is a clothing line worn mostly by skaters, surfers and probably extreme-type sportsmen. There are two words: “F” is the beginning of the second word. The name means the same thing as “don’t be scared.”

For “R” - this is a popular carbonated drink. It’s name is two words. The first word is the same as an esteemed profession that is known for saving lives and the second is a vegetable that is used primarily to spice up cooking - espeically fajitas.

I hope these help. If you still need any more tips (or the answers), please let me know and I will e-mail them to you.

    Ciao,
    c

  162. Cowbell :

    I have all but H and S.

The best hint for F (well at least for my American counterparts).

F: Not exactly about sports. Can be found more often than not on the back glass of big red neck pick up trucks. It cosequently has nothing to do with the truck, and usually nothing what-so-ever to do with the driver.

The Ruskies helped me figure that one out. Thanks.

  163. Kate and Svets form Russia :

We guessed all, ecxept “V”. What can it be, we nave no thoughts… Please!!! Help!!! :-)

  164. Kate and Sveta form Russia :

S: a word consists of 7 letters. The first and the last letters are similar. the 2-nd and the 3-d letters are similar too. The 5-th and the 6-th letters are also similar and they are like the letter which is represented at the alphabet :-)
Take all the other promptings together and you certaingly guess, Good Luck :-)

  165. Patty Burgess :

I did mobile for luck quiz but my mobile credit already running out so I send for Heidi Klem born Germany with Luck C

    Letter hint

P- In most games, short for hitpoints

  170. Wow :

I’m still stuck on K and M. I know M has something to do with computers, and that K is some sort of candy or junk food.

  171. Brifin47 :

    48 w/ the squirt helped me w/ z.

  172. mackenzie :

Alright I finally got F and S after hours of google searching everything mentioned in these comments. I hope my hints might help some people.
F - as mentioned F is the first letter in the second word. Sobe makes a line of energy drinks by the same name possibly sponsored by the company.
S - The Beatles had a famous song about a girl named Lucy. Many say that this song represented a type of drug as they both have the same three letter abbreviation. If you take off the last of these three letters you get the companies name.

  173. Wow :

Well I finally got all of them thanks to a friend, so disregard my other message.

  174. lac :

I’m getting a goddamn aneurysm on my forehead from the letter “S.” Corporation my ass, something this obscure must be a business run by 2 to 3 people that never sells anything.

  175. lac :

HINTS AS OBVIOUS AS I COULD THINK OF BELOW
    READ AT OWN RISK

A - made the acrobat reader
    B - three-letter-long name, computer company
C - if you can’t get this one alone, give up now. Soda pop? Pepsi’s archrival?
    D - shoe company. N’s biggest competitor.
E - they made my washing machine. they also make refrigerators and stuff. in general, they make electric things.
F - obscure as hell, I’ve never heard of them, so I’ll say the name is “no miedo” in spanish. type that into a translator.
G - the only plane-building company you’ve heard of if you’re not employed as an air traffic controller.
H - again, obscure. definitely not a major corporation. Two words. I like one of the above hints… [satan’s home] + [group that made MM-bop]. Stick a “Y” on the end of the first word and change the spelling of the second.
I - major fast food chain known for the whopper.
J - named for a mountain in japan.
K - this shoe crap is confusing everyone. It’s a candybar, whose name sounds like a TYPE OF FOOTWEAR (sandal, high-heel, etc), not a brand.
L - type “jeans” into google.
M - they make the most popular flash player on the internet.
N - famed for their sweatshops-I mean-good shoes. That totally aren’t made by enslaved asian eight-year-olds.
O - Almost everyone’s homepage. big search engine. Named after a big number.
P - two letters long and P is the second one, so just keep sticking letters in front of P till it works. they build computers.
Q - look up “presario” like some other guy inferred.
    R - soda. it’s brown, um, in a brown can…something medical…really, it’s obvious.
    S - DAMN YOU LETTER S, YOU #%^KING PIECE OF &$(@
T - a news magazine who declares a “man of the year” every year. Hitler was once their man of the year, so they’re pretty bad at it. I mean, that was the second worse choice they made next to George W. Bush as man of the year.
U - they make sweet rings of fried dough that you dip in coffee.
V - Name means “a person who hasn’t had sex”.
W - really expensive car brand.
X - they make copy/fax machines. Starts with and ends with X.
    Y - ___y playstation
Z - think of every company you know that makes ketchup. Yeah, you know how you thought of only one company? well it’s that one.

  176. Dima :

    Christ,the only one I can’t get is S.

  177. Joe :

Because I think S is ridiculous, this should end your frustration (note: the hint below is really easy, so if you want to figure it out below, don’t look):

The word is 7 letters long.
    Starts with E.
The 1st, 4th, and 7th letters are the same.
There are only 3 letters in the word (and you already know one).

The other two letters are also the first two letters of a 3-letter abbreviation for a drug also known as acid.

The 2nd and 3rd letters are the same.
The 5th and 6th letters are the same.

  178. Arbiter :

    gaaaaaaaa…I’ve seen A, B, and M b4 but I cant think of those answers.

  179. Arbiter :

    So far I’ve E, G, J, O, P, Q, R, U, X, and Y. Any hints for the reamining letters would help.

  180. Arbiter :

    Oh… I 4got 2 mention that I also got L

  181. Arbiter :

    And N

  182. Arbiter :

Oh ignore the part in comment 178 where I don’t know A. I got that. Hoe ;bout hints for B and M.

  183. Arbiter :

Just got K. I no it’s confusing everyone. My hint is to think of a synonim for laugh and make it plural.

  184. Arbiter :

Another letter thet ppl. r having trubble wit is W.
The hint: Short for Barbarian motor Works

  185. Arbiter :

The hint is in CAPITAL LETTERS

There were two tomatoes racing. One fell but said he’d KETCHUP later.

  186. Arbiter :

T-Any clock will tell you this. From Big ben to those Rolex watch clocks.

  187. Cas :

Joe, fyi…ur awesome. im still an idiot though and can’t figure out H and K. I have tried every candy i can think of for K(and trust me im a huge candy fan) and I have misspelled Zac and his brothers’ last name every which way n it ain’t working for me

  188. Jacob :

I am so incredibly lost on “H”!

  189. Jacob :

K: almost another word for “chuckles”

  190. Jacob :

check out hint 175 for a good clue on “H”–it’s the only one that helped me out.

  191. Arbiter :

I still need hints on H and S. I got the rest.

  192. Arbiter :

A-Mud house that some Indian tribes lived in

    Y-Japanese Electronic company

    Z-Ketchup company

  193. Arbiter :

    R-Another soda company. Also Nurse Salt’s co-worker

  194. Arbiter :

I give you people hints. Now how about giving me some hints for H and S in return?

  195. J :

Comment 175 is most helpful. Z==> political in that a man that ran for president of USA married a woman whose dead exhusband’s family started the ketchup company. Also I do like StumbleUpon.

  196. Rix :

These are UK centric hints and pretty blatant at that.

I had most trouble with F, H, and K but would certainly not have got more than 10 without any hints so thanks to all who posted above.

    A - Acrobat and Photoshop.
B - Computer Co AKA Big Blue.
    C - The #1 drink worldwide.
D - Sports shoe maker and the graphic part of the logo looks a bit like the Sydney Opera House from the side.
E - They make light bulbs amongst other things. Sounds like a military man.
F - Two words, 1st is opposite of yes, 2nd is ‘the letter’ plus what you listen with.
G - Plane and simply they make the jumbo.
H - This letter, and this letter only, appears twice in the logo, at the beginning of both words of the Scandinavian founders name. They make clothing for outdoor pursuits and sports.
I - Junk food rival to the clown of the golden arches.
J - If you took a (non-digital) picture of the Japanese sacred mountain you’d probably use film purchased locally made by them.
K - This used to be known as Marathon in the UK (I think this is a product name rather than a corporate brand name)
L - I heard it on the grapevine, Nick Kamen stripped to his underwear in a launderette to advertise this brand
M - Flash used in browsers: They make it.
N - Big sports footwear brand. The logo looks like a tick. The company takes its name from the Greek goddess of victory.
    O - The #1 search engine
P - A computer company. Think of sauce in a parliamentary manner.
Q - Computer company eaten up by ‘P’, sounds like they were very trim and petite.
R - Sounds like this soda drink was invented by a medical man specialising in condiments. Not to be sneezed at.
S - Sports clothing manufacturer, the name gives the impression that the clothes are mainly for women. If you say out loud the first 2 letters of the popular name for lysergic acid diethylamide then you have also said this 7 letter name.
T - Waits for no man. For detailed information, refer to your timepiece.
U - American company that allows you to indulge in dipping your hoop shaped fast-food dessert.
    V - Richard Branson’s chain of companies.
W - Car maker based in Munich, Germany.
X - This company must be the world’s #1 in reprographics.
Y - What you would you say to a gentleman waiting to cross the road at a pedestrian crossing when the green man is illuminated? Well this company made that device. PS now on #3.
Z - They claim to have 57 varieties.

Once again, many thanks to those who posted above, especially those who managed it without hints.

K - if focusing on candy is not useful,
